The Arc of Bismarck offers a variety of services to individuals with disabilities, their families and the public.

Services Include:

Information and Referral - Trained professionals assist individuals with disabilities and their families in getting connected with appropriate community resources.

Individual and Systems Advocacy - Through an organized effort, The Arc of Bismarck provides advocacy regarding the rights of people with disabilities and their families.

Legislative Advocacy - The Arc tracks and monitors disability related legislation and provides written and/or oral testimony.

Community Living Program - This program is designed to assist people with disabilities who are looking to transition out of an institutional setting and into the community by providing them with a voucher that can be used at our Thrift Store.

Partners in Policymaking - Partners offers adults with disabilities and parents of children with disabilities an opportunity to acquire the tools needed to attain leadership roles and to be effective advocates within their communities.

American People Self-Advocacy Association - American People is a self-advocacy organization run by and for people with disabilities. The Arc supports this group and serves as the group's advisor.
